Harlan is a long time record collector and DJ currently based out of the Hudson Valley, NY. He specializes in curating an analog set of music pulled from a wide spectrum of genres. You can expect deep cuts back to back with old favorites for an algorithm free listening experience. His sets can be found archived on the Lot Radio and NTS.
Harlan strives to make unexpected connections between songs and artists. Everything from emo to shoegaze to dream pop, soul to jazz, disco, funk, boogie, and beyond including world music, cumbia, high life, dub, AOR, MPB, funk, Turkish psych, exotica/lounge, etc.
“My passion for music and sharing jams with others knows no bounds! I would love to soundtrack your space or special event with only the choicest analog cuts straight from the source. Over the years I’ve dug through many dusty and dark corners of record shops to amass the *perfect* vinyl collection (I may be a bit biased here).
Don’t hesitate to reach out via the information on my business card pinned to the top! I am ready to roll at a moment’s notice with a fully functional mobile set up including turntables and mixer, bumping PA system, and of course crates and crates of LPs.”
Many thanks to all those who’ve collaborated on flier design over the years, Brock Mahan, Curtis Edwards, Anne Galperin, & Greg Locke!

Once asked what one item I would rescue from my burning house, I realized that my collection of ticket stubs dating back 20+ years was high on my list. I am digitizing them here. Perhaps you were at one of these awesome events too?
An expanded list of my work and education history, duties, and responsibilities. I am proud of each of the accomplishments listed below.
